At the Kobonal Haiti Mission School, students are fed two nutritious meals and a snack each school day. Without these meals, many of these children would go all day without any food. But thanks to meals sponsored by Cross Catholic Outreach, these children get the nutrition to need to grow healthy, strong and succeed in school—so one day they can break the vicious cycle of poverty. Maybe that’s why they start each school day by singing joyfully in Creole and English, “Mèsi poutèt ou Jezi, mèsi! Thank you Jesus; thank you!”
