Jonas was only five when he came to Amenacer, a home for street kids in Bolivia. Now age eleven, he recently celebrated his First Communion. He said, “Amenacer has taught me to believe in one God who is the Father of all, and in His Son Jesus who makes us free. He has given me a beautiful home where I am learning many things. I am very happy to be a friend of Jesus and want to follow Him. I give thanks to God for all the opportunities He has given me.”
Cross Catholic also thanks God for all the opportunities he’s given Jonas and hundreds of children like him who are rescued from despair by Amenacer. “The kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Mark 10:14).
